Follow these steps to resolve printer-related problems with your Finix payment terminal.
- Terminal does notprint any receipts
- Receipts are faded or incomplete
Before troubleshooting hardware issues, ensure that receipt functionality is enabled for your terminal in the Finix Dashboard.
- Ensure that there is sufficient paper in the roll.
- If the paper is low or empty, replace the receipt roll with a new one. If you need to order more receipt paper, please contact our support team.
- Open the receipt roll cover.
- Remove any dust and paper scraps.
- Check for any obstructions that could block the receipt roll.
- Inspect for loose or broken parts.
After completing the inspection and any necessary cleaning or replacement:
- Close the receipt roll cover securely.
- Attempt to print a test receipt.
