Manhattan Associates Overview

Manhattan Associates is a leader in supply chain and commerce software trusted by retailers worldwide. Its Manhattan Active Omni platform provides unified order management, point-of-sale, store inventory, and customer engagement tools — enabling retailers to fulfill and service orders across every channel from a single system. Finix integrates with Manhattan Active Omni through the Cybersource payment gateway, enabling merchants to process payments and reconcile transaction data within their Manhattan environment.

Integration

Step 1: Sign up for a Finix Account

To create a Finix account, you can follow our step-by-step guide or sign up directly for a live or sandbox account.

We recommend choosing Direct Merchant as your Customer Type.

Step 2: Create a Cybersource Gateway Integration

Finix supports Manhattan Associates via our Cybersource Gateway integration. Please note that there is an additional fee for using our Cybersource integration.

  1. To create a Cybersource integration, navigate to the Integrations page on your Finix Dashboard.

  1. Sign up for Cybersource. You can view detailed instructions in our guide, here.
  2. After accepting the Cybersource invitation email, retrieve the following credentials from the Cybersource Business Center under Payment Configuration → Key Management — you'll need these to configure Manhattan Active Omni:
    • Merchant ID (also called Organization ID)
    • REST API Key

Step 3: Configure Cybersource in Manhattan Active Omni

Before you proceed, ensure you have:

  • Approved Finix Merchant Account
  • Cybersource Gateway Integration linked to your Finix Merchant Account
  • Cybersource credentials from Step 2
  • Administrator access to your Manhattan Active Omni account

Manhattan Active Omni integrates with Cybersource natively as a credit card gateway. For full details, refer to the Manhattan Associates Cybersource developer documentation.

  1. In your Manhattan Active Omni admin, navigate to Settings → Payment Configuration → Credit Card Gateway.
  2. Select Cybersource as the gateway provider.
  3. Enter the following credentials from Step 2:
    • Merchant ID — your Cybersource Organization ID
    • REST API Key ID — your REST Key ID
    • REST API Shared Secret — your REST Shared Secret
  4. Select the environment (Test for sandbox, Production for live).
  5. Save the configuration and assign the gateway to the relevant business units or stores.

After completing configuration, you can now take payments through Finix via our Cybersource Gateway Integration.

Manhattan Associates Transactions

When you run a transaction on Manhattan Associates, you'll see it:

  • In your Manhattan Active Omni dashboard under Orders → Payment Transactions.
  • In the Cybersource Business Center.
  • In your Finix Dashboard under Transactions → Payments.

These transactions will be ingested by Finix and added to Settlements. To track transfers between Finix and Cybersource, please refer to our guide, here.
