Accept payments with Finix on BigCommerce.

BigCommerce

BigCommerce Overview

BigCommerce is a leading open SaaS eCommerce platform trusted by more than 130,000 mid-market and enterprise merchants worldwide. It offers a flexible, headless architecture with built-in tools for storefront management, multi-channel selling, inventory, and promotions — without requiring a full platform replatform. Finix integrates with BigCommerce through the Cybersource payment gateway, enabling merchants to accept payments directly within their BigCommerce checkout.

Finix Requirements

  • Finix Live Account
  • Active BigCommerce account

Integration

Step 1: Sign up for a Finix Account

To create a Finix account, you can follow our step-by-step guide or sign up directly for a live or sandbox account.

We recommend choosing Direct Merchant as your Customer Type.

Step 2: Create a Cybersource Gateway Integration

Cybersource Integration

Finix supports BigCommerce via our Cybersource Gateway integration. Please note that there is an additional fee for using our Cybersource integration.

For more information, please reach out to your Finix point of contact.

  1. To create a Cybersource integration, navigate to the Integrations page on your Finix Dashboard.
Cybersource Merchant Integrations

  • Store configured to use Optimized One Page Checkout
  • Services enabled on your Cybersource gateway account before configuration

Step 4: Install and Connect the Cybersource App

Before you proceed, ensure you have:

  • Approved Finix Merchant Account
  • Cybersource Gateway Integration linked to your Finix Merchant Account
  • BigCommerce store with Optimized One Page Checkout enabled

Install the Cybersource app from the BigCommerce App Marketplace. Cybersource publishes and maintains this integration.

For full installation details, refer to the Cybersource BigCommerce developer documentation.
