# Deploying Your App to Terminals

You can now build your own applications and deploy them directly to Finix-supported payment terminals. With the Device Reader SDK, your app runs on the terminal itself and controls the full in-person payment experience: registering the device, initializing the terminal, and processing transactions.

Use this to build a custom point of sale, or to embed payments into an existing workflow. You keep complete control over the checkout experience on the device.
