# Dispute Updates

## Improved WON / LOST Updates

We've improved Dispute statuses to update more frequently to WON or LOST. You'll see Disputes update quicker than in the past.

You can read more [here](/guides/after-the-payment/disputes/how-disputes-work#winning-and-losing-disputes) about winning and losing disputes.

## Updated Filters

We've updated the default landing page of disputes to automatically filter which disputes need a response. This makes it easier to focus on which disputes need to be challenged or accepted.

## Ability to Submit a Partial Dispute Response

We now allow you to respond to partial dispute amounts. This can be helpful if you disagree with the amount of the inquiry or chargeback, but acknowledge that part of it is valid.

## Including a previously initiated refund when Responding to a Dispute

Specifying a refund when responding to a dispute can be useful when you refunded the cardholder but they separately opened up a dispute with their bank.

For both full dispute amounts and partial dispute amounts, you can specify if a refund was already provided to the cardholder. We'll submit this information to the card networks as part of the response.

If you don't see the refund, you can manually link a refund. This may be applicable if you did an unreferenced refund.
