Finix now supports Cybersource as a gateway integration. Cybersource, a Visa-owned payment gateway, acts as the gateway layer routing transactions to card networks. Merchants can retain their existing checkout solutions while Finix continues to handle merchant onboarding, settlements, and payouts.
Key benefits include:
- Global card support: Accept many international cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
- Flexible checkout: Keep existing checkout providers like Shopify while routing transactions through Cybersource.
Merchants must use a Finix-issued Cybersource account. Once a Gateway Integration is created, Cybersource sends an email invitation to activate the account and retrieve transacting credentials.
