# Managing Transactions

After processing a payment or authorization through the Virtual Terminal, you can manage it from the Finix Dashboard.

## View and Manage a Transaction

After [using the Virtual Terminal to process a sale](/low-code-no-code/virtual-terminal/quickstart), a **Payment ID** is returned. Click the **Payment ID** to open the payment details page.

From the payment details page, you can:

- Review the payment details.
- Create a receipt.
- Issue a [refund](/guides/after-the-payment/refunds).


Managing Payments
Authorization
After [using the Virtual Terminal to process an authorization](/low-code-no-code/virtual-terminal/quickstart), an **Authorization ID** is returned. Click the **Authorization ID** to open the authorization details page.

From the authorization details page, you can click the three-dot icon in the top-right corner to:

- **Capture** the authorization to complete the charge.
- **Void** the authorization to release the hold on the buyer's funds.
- **Create Receipt** for the authorization.
